Keeping your airbrush clean is very important to not only to prevent clogging but also allowing it to work perfectly for a long time! Every now and then it's necessary to give your airbrush a deeper cleaning. It's easy and you don't have to completely disassemble your airbrush to do it.
Here's a little video to show you how to keep your airbrush stylus clean!
Although all of these steps are not necessary after every use, for general daily cleaning it is ideal to "back bubble" and run water through the airbrush a couple times after each use. This helps to keep makeup from drying inside the body of the airbrush stylus and prevent clogging.
If the airbrush is still clogged after this deep cleaning process, try soaking the airbrush stylus in a cup of water. Take the needle cap and nozzle cap off (the tip of airbrush), take the needle out and place all parts in a cup of water. Let it soak for a few hours (2-3 hours, or even overnight). The soaking should help soften and break down the makeup. Then you can proceed with the deep cleaning video again.
